Hello, I'm Beth

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, confusing, or isolating, especially when you are navigating difficult experiences on your own. I believe every person’s journey is unique and that, with compassion and meaningful support, greater clarity and resilience are possible.

I support individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, self-esteem concerns, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. My goal is to create a warm, collaborative, and culturally humble space where your experiences are honoured and your strengths are recognized.

My own experiences of cultural adjustment and significant life transitions have deepened my understanding of how identity, belonging, and environment can affect emotional wellbeing. They continue to guide my commitment to culturally responsive and trauma-informed care.

In our work together, clients experience me as

Warm · Respectful · Culturally humble · Collaborative · Compassionate

My therapeutic approach

I consider how culture, identity, relationships, environment, and past experiences may influence your emotional wellbeing. Together, we can explore these interconnected areas while developing tools that support both immediate challenges and meaningful long-term growth.

Working with me, you would learn to:

  • Recognize and shift unhelpful thought patterns
  • Process complex emotions with greater understanding
  • Respond to difficult emotions rather than fighting against them
  • Navigate challenging interpersonal dynamics
  • Develop healthier relationships and stronger boundaries
  • Build resilience using your existing strengths

  • Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, Yorkville University, in progress
  • Bachelor of Science in Psychology, TED University
