Who We Are

Vision & Mission

Our Mission

To make mental health care accessible and affordable for everyone.
Counselling for All provides compassionate, affordable counselling and holistic wraparound support that addresses the mental, physical, and social factors affecting well-being. We work alongside individuals to strengthen their mental health, overcome barriers, access resources, and build the skills and support needed to create meaningful and lasting change in their lives.

Our Vision

A future where everyone has the opportunity to heal, grow, and thrive—regardless of their financial circumstances.

We envision healthier individuals, stronger families, and more connected communities where access to mental health care and supportive resources helps break cycles of hardship, promotes long-term well-being, and creates intergenerational wellness for generations to come.

Our story

From lived experience to intergenerational wellness

Mental health challenges touch millions of lives, but for us, this work began much closer to home.
We are Mobina and Ehsan, and Counselling for All grew from our own experiences of living with intergenerational trauma and not having access to the mental health support we needed when we needed it most.

Without accessible care, we struggled for years. The emotional weight of unresolved trauma affected our mental health, our relationships, and ultimately took a serious toll on our family, contributing to family breakdown. Those experiences shaped us deeply and made us realize how much can be lost when people are unable to access support early.

Mobina’s own lived experience with trauma ultimately led her to become a trauma therapist. She wanted to better understand the impact of trauma, support her own healing, and help others navigate experiences she understood personally. Yet even as a therapist, she came to recognize that healing can be difficult, complex, and slow—especially when support has not been available early enough.
Over time, one thing became very clear: Mobina and Ehsan did not want the pain they had inherited to continue into another generation, and they did not want other families to experience the same preventable loss.

When they met, they recognized parts of their stories in one another. That shared understanding strengthened their commitment to heal themselves while helping others access care before trauma, stress, and mental health challenges overwhelm their lives and relationships.

Counselling for All was created from that commitment: to make mental health care more accessible, help families heal before they break apart, interrupt cycles of intergenerational trauma, and create intergenerational wellness for generations to come.
