Meet

Corinne Evans

Hi, I’m Corinne Evans, and I’m a social worker (BSW, MSW) passionate about supporting individuals through life transitions, parenting challenges, and managing ADHD. I approach counselling from a collaborative, strengths-based, and narrative perspective, creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their experiences, build self-compassion, and gain clarity in their choices. I’m inspired by the resilience and insight people bring to their own journeys, and I feel honoured to walk alongside clients as they reflect, grow, and reconnect with their values and priorities.

My counselling journey has been shaped by a deep respect for people’s stories and a belief in the importance of holding space for others to be seen and heard. Both personal and professional experiences have shown me how much societal pressures, cultural expectations, and life transitions can impact emotional well-being. These experiences inspired me to pursue a career in social work, where I could help individuals navigate challenges, build self-compassion, and gain clarity in their lives. I value collaboration, empathy, and creating an environment where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences and reclaim their voices.

My Therapeutic Approach

Trauma Informed, narrative & strength base

My work is guided by respect, collaboration, and empathy. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported in exploring your experiences. I believe that clients are the experts in their own lives, and I see my role as a guide and collaborator—helping you reflect, uncover strengths, and discover the solutions that work best for you.

I aim to foster an environment that is warm, accepting, and validating, where you can explore challenges, build self-compassion, and gain insight into your patterns and choices. I also recognize the impact of societal pressures, cultural expectations, and systemic influences on your experiences, and I work to help you navigate these forces while honouring your values and identity.

Population that I prefer working with

I feel especially called to work with individuals navigating the perinatal and postnatal period, as well as parents seeking support and guidance. I also have a strong interest in supporting people with ADHD who are looking for strategies to better understand themselves and manage daily challenges.

That said, I welcome working with anyone who feels aligned with my approach and values, and I am committed to providing a safe, nonjudgmental, and collaborative space for all clients.
