My approach to counselling is client-centred, trauma-informed, and grounded in creating a safe, supportive space where individuals feel heard without judgment. I integrate CBT and DBT-informed approaches to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behavioural patterns while also developing practical coping and emotional regulation skills. My background in Counselling Psychology, combined with my experience supporting individuals facing trauma, depression, emotional distress, and complex life challenges, continues to shape my work. What inspires me most is seeing people move from feeling overwhelmed or disconnected to developing greater clarity, resilience, and confidence in themselves and their ability to navigate life.
My professional journey has been shaped by both counselling and digital media. After completing my undergraduate degree in Guidance and Counselling, I began working as a digital media consultant while pursuing my M.Ed., which eventually led me to build a digital media agency. I later transitioned into photography, where I became deeply aware of how emotions, self-perception, and internal experiences can shape the way people see themselves and present to the world. That experience strengthened my interest in mental health and led me to pursue a more direct path in clinical counselling. I am currently studying Digital Media at Northeastern University, where I remain interested in the connection between emotional wellbeing, identity, and digital spaces. What inspires me most is supporting people in understanding themselves more deeply, building emotional resilience, and moving toward healthier and more meaningful lives.
My therapeutic approach is integrative, client-centred, and trauma-informed. I draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)-informed approaches.
I value creating a space where clients feel safe, respected, and genuinely heard without fear of judgment. I believe therapy should be both supportive and practical, helping clients better understand themselves while also building tools they can apply in everyday life. I aim to hold space with curiosity, compassion, and consistency, while recognizing each person’s experiences, pace, and goals as unique. Most importantly, I want clients to feel supported in exploring difficult emotions, developing resilience, and moving toward meaningful and sustainable change.
I welcome working with anyone who feels aligned with my services.
