Meet

Jenna Moore

Hi and welcome!
My name is Jenna, and I am currently finishing my Master of Arts Degree in Counselling Psychology. My approach to counselling is grounded in trust, compassion, and connection. I aim to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and comfortable exploring whatever is coming up for you. Whether you are new to therapy or seeking a fresh perspective, I am dedicated to supporting clients in their journey towards healing, growth, and self-discovery.

I’ve always been drawn to understanding people and what shapes their experiences. A big part of what guides me is the belief that everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and understood. I try to approach people with curiosity, empathy, and openness, while also recognizing that our struggles don’t happen in isolation, they’re often shaped by our relationships, identities, and the world around us. This perspective continues to shape how I show up in my work.

My Therapeutic Approach

My approach is integrative and client-centered. I draw from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), alongside mindfulness and mind-body practices. I also incorporate a humanistic perspective as I believe exploring early experiences, emotions, and attachment patterns can help us better understand present behaviours. I tailor therapy to each client, focusing on strengths while building practical tools for growth.

At the core of my work are compassion, authenticity, and respect. I aim to create a space that feels safe, non-judgmental, and inclusive, where you can show up exactly as you are. I see therapy as a collaborative process, and I truly believe that you are the expert in your own life. My role is to support you, walk alongside you, and help you feel more connected to yourself.

Population that I prefer working with

I am passionate about working with young adults and adults who are navigating life transitions, emotional challenges, or exploring their sense of self. That said, I welcome anyone who feels connected to my approach and is looking for a supportive space to heal and grow.
