I know that reaching out for support can feel tender, awkward, brave, and maybe a little scary all at once. Sometimes one part of you is ready to talk, while another part wants to keep everything tucked away. I welcome all of that. My approach to counselling is warm, creative, collaborative, trauma-informed, and rooted in curiosity. I care deeply about creating a space where you can feel safe enough to show up as you are, not as who you think you are supposed to be.
My journey into counselling has been shaped by a desire to move towards what scares me while learning and growing along the way. My own experiences with counselling have deepened my respect for resilience, healing, and the complexity of being human. I value compassion, curiosity, authenticity, and respect for each person's inner world.
My therapeutic approach is person-centred, trauma-informed, collaborative, and parts-based. I draw from approaches that support self-awareness, emotional insight, and a compassionate relationship with the different parts of ourselves.
I value creating a space that feels warm, respectful, and non-judgmental. I aim to hold space with curiosity, compassion, and authenticity, and I believe clients deserve to feel heard, supported, and empowered at their own pace.
I feel especially called to work with clients navigating complexity, like PTSD, attachment trauma, self-doubt, psychosis, addictions, or those who just want to reconnect with themselves.

Clients may begin to feel less constrained by protective patterns of anxiety, worry, fear, etc. and more connected to their innate qualities of compassion, clarity, curiosity, and creativity. This can support deeper self-understanding, greater self-trust, and a more grounded, connected relationship with themselves.
I have participated in Internal Family Systems-informed workshops and other ongoing professional development opportunities, and I remain committed to continued learning and deepening my clinical skills.
When I’m not in counselling work, you can usually find me looking at or making visual art, listening to music, spending time with cats, riding my bike across Canada, or walking by the beach.
