I am guided by curiosity, a deep belief in human resilience, and the transformative power of being truly heard.
What has shaped me most on my journey into counselling is people. I have had the privilege of listening to individuals from many different walks of life and have seen how meaningful it can be to feel heard without judgment or agenda. Authentic human connection is not a small part of healing. Often, it is the heart of it.
I especially enjoy supporting people in helping professions who are experiencing burnout or compassion fatigue. I am also drawn to working with people navigating immigration, intercultural relationships, belonging across cultures, and life transitions, whether chosen or unexpected.
I know what it means to carry a heavy load and to feel the relief of having someone walk alongside you. Those experiences shape the warmth, respect, and compassion I bring into every session.
Warm · Curious · Creative · Compassionate · Culturally humble
My approach is integrative, creative, trauma-informed, and client-led. I draw primarily from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
What guides the work most, however, is you: your story, your strengths, your goals, and what feels useful at a given moment. I practise with cultural humility, meaning I will not assume that I understand your experience before you have shared it with me.
I believe meaningful change happens through a safe and authentic relationship where you feel respected, supported, and free to move toward a life that feels meaningful to you.
Sunday through Wednesday evenings, PT
Originally from Montreal, I have lived and worked in more than 30 countries and have been shaped by the people and cultures I encountered along the way. I now live in Siem Reap, Cambodia, where Angkor Wat is my favourite running spot. I share my home with my Khmer husband and our rescue family of one dog and five cats.
