After over a decade in the business and professional world, I chose to pursue a new path in counselling. I am currently a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology student at Yorkville University, with a focus on helping others build safe, trusting relationships and move toward meaningful, values-aligned healing. My training is grounded in trauma-informed practice, a strengths-based approach, and a culturally respectful, inclusive lens.
My journey into counselling has been shaped by over ten years of supporting people through complex, high-pressure situations, including early career challenges, difficult relationships, and personal setbacks. In these spaces, I witnessed the power of feeling truly heard and respected, which deepened my commitment to building connection and approaching each person with openness, kindness, and care.
I strive to create a space that feels safe, calm, and non-judgmental. My work is guided by empathy, respect, and genuine curiosity about your experience. I focus on meeting you where you are, while supporting you in building confidence, insight, and meaningful change at your own pace.
I feel especially connected to working with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. I also have a strong interest in supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those with autism and dual diagnoses. I welcome anyone who feels aligned with my approach.
