Hi, I’m Namita. I’m currently completing my Master of Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University and working as an Associate Therapist at Counselling for All under the supervision of Mobina Hasan and Heather Beveridge. I believe therapy doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. It can be a space where you slow down, understand what you’re carrying, and begin to feel more connected to yourself. I offer a warm, non-judgmental space where you can take your time to share what you’re going through, and together we can gently explore your experiences and make sense of what feels overwhelming. I draw from CBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and mindfulness, while keeping the process flexible and centered around you.
My journey into counselling comes from my own experience of doing inner work and noticing how much can shift when we begin to understand ourselves with more awareness and compassion. It helped me see that people are not lacking strength. Often, that strength is simply covered by overwhelming or unprocessed emotions. This understanding is what drew me to this work and continues to shape how I sit with clients.
My approach is integrative and trauma informed. I draw from CBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and mindfulness-based approaches. I adapt my work based on each client’s needs rather than following a rigid structure.
I value creating a space that feels safe, respectful, and non-judgmental. Curiosity, compassion, and authenticity guide my work. I believe healing happens when people feel understood and able to reconnect with themselves.
I work with adult individuals navigating stress, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, relationship challenges, and personal growth. I welcome working with anyone who feels aligned with my approach.

Through our work together, you may begin to feel more connected to yourself, noticing your thoughts, emotions, and even your body’s responses with a little more awareness. Over time, you might find it easier to pause and catch what’s happening within, rather than feeling completely overwhelmed by it. This can slowly create space for more self-compassion, and a sense of feeling steadier and more in touch with yourself as you move through everyday challenges.
I enjoy having real, meaningful conversations and hearing how different people see the world. Over time, I’ve worked through fears like driving and public speaking, and I’m still working on my fear of swimming.
