Hello, I'm Sabrina

Life can feel overwhelming, especially when you are carrying multiple responsibilities or navigating changes that make it difficult to prioritize yourself. You may feel stretched thin, uncertain where to begin, or simply in need of space to pause and reflect.

I believe healing can begin by showing up as you are and becoming curious about the parts of yourself that need to be heard. My goal is to offer a warm and non-judgmental space where you can speak openly, move at your own pace, and develop a deeper understanding of what you are experiencing.

My counselling journey has been shaped by supporting families, adults, and youth from a variety of backgrounds. My work with Indigenous communities in the Comox Valley deepened my appreciation for the roles that culture, connection, and community can hold in healing.

I also have experience supporting neurodivergent youth and young adults. This has strengthened my commitment to adapting counselling to each person rather than expecting everyone to fit within the same approach.

In our work together, clients experience me as

Warm · Curious · Flexible · Respectful · Collaborative

My therapeutic approach

My approach is trauma-informed and tailored to your needs, experiences, and perspective. I draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and mindfulness-based practices.
I believe meaningful support requires flexibility, curiosity, and respect for each person’s individual journey. Together, we can explore your experiences, deepen your understanding, and build insight at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Working with me, you would learn to:

  • Better understand your thoughts, emotions, and experiences
  • Recognize patterns affecting your wellbeing
  • Develop greater insight and self-awareness
  • Explore your experiences without judgment
  • Identify approaches that reflect your individual needs
  • Feel more supported while navigating stress or change

Training & professional development

  • Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, in progress
  • Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Psychology
  • Couples and family systems
  • Crisis and trauma counselling
  • Group counselling
