Life can feel overwhelming at times, especially when you are carrying multiple responsibilities or navigating changes that may make it difficult to prioritize yourself. You may be feeling stretched thin, unsure where to begin, or in need of a space to pause and reflect. I am currently completing my Master of Arts in counselling psychology, and plan on working with adults and youth. Healing begins with just showing up as you are and working to understand the part of yourself that needs to be heard.
My counselling journey has been shaped by both personal and professional experiences. I have supported a diverse range of communities, including families, adults, and youth from various backgrounds. My work with indigenous communities in the Comox Valley has deepened my understanding of the importance of connection, culture, and community in the healing journey.
I also have experience working with neurodivergent youth and young adults, where I prioritize understanding each individual's perspective and honed my skills in adapting my approaches to meet their unique needs. These experiences have strengthened my belief that counselling is not one-size-fits-all, and that meaningful support requires flexibility, curiosity, and respect for each persons unique journey.
I use a trauma-informed approach and draw on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, and mindfulness. I tailor the sessions to fit your needs and experiences.
I welcome working with anyone who feels aligned with my services, both adult and youth
