This connection circle offers a gentle, supportive space to navigate grief with others who understand.
Grief after an unexpected loss can affect every part of life—your sense of self, your relationships, and your understanding of the world.

Grief is not something to fix, but something to move through in your own time

FACILITATOR
I started this support group when I recognized that I needed a colleague and a friend in one person. Therapist is not the same as a friend and a friend cannot be a therapist. So, why not make friends who are therapists and support each other through challenges, celebrating glimmers and showing shimmers.

This is not a structured therapy session or a place where you need to “perform” your grief.
It is a space where you can show up exactly as you are.
Will I have to talk about what happened?
No. There is never any pressure to share. You are welcome to speak, or simply listen and be present.
What if my grief feels too overwhelming?
Everything you are feeling is welcome here. This space is designed to support you gently, at your own pace.
I don’t know if I’m ready to be around others yet.
That’s okay. Many people come feeling unsure. You can participate quietly and take things one step at a time.
What if my experience is different from others?
Every loss is unique. This space honours your experience exactly as it is, without comparison.
I don’t want to be told how to ‘move on.’
You won’t be. This circle is not about moving on. It’s about learning how to live with your loss in a way that feels meaningful to you.
What if I don’t have the right words?
You don’t need them. Being present is enough.
Find support in a space where your grief is met with care and understanding.
