Meet Angini Mohammed.

I bring over 16 years of experience as a psychotherapist, social worker, and trainer. My work is grounded in compassion, cultural awareness, and a deep understanding of trauma. I support clients in creating meaningful, lasting change in their lives by addressing the root causes of suffering and drawing on their strengths.
I founded Safe Harbor Support to provide a space where individuals can heal, grow, and feel truly seen. Whether working in private practice or providing substance use counselling in community settings, my goal has always been to walk alongside others in their healing.

My Therapeutic Approach

My work is integrative and trauma-informed. I specialize in trauma recovery, childhood trauma, substance use, anxiety, and anger management. As a Certified Anger Management Specialist, I help clients navigate strong emotions in a way that leads to connection instead of conflict. I also weave in the calming and clarifying presence of nature as a co-therapist, creating space for healing beyond the therapy room.

Population that I prefer working with

I support adults of all ages who are ready to do the deep work of change and healing. I welcome individuals from all backgrounds and am especially mindful of cultural identity and racialized experiences in the therapeutic process.
